LinkScan™ 11.3 -- Many refinements and enhancements

Continuing to lead the technology, Elsop announces its latest release with new features and capabilities to made the process even faster and easier. The following are some of the improvements in this new release:
Improvements to several reports, especially the Search Links Report and the sort options on same.
Addition of several enhancements to the LinkScan Orphaned File detection.
Several enhancements to the LinkScan SiteMap.
Improvements to the handling/reporting of certain (rare) link redirection scenarios.
Increases in the speed and accuracy with which LinkScan validates FTP links.
Improvements to the processing of JavaScript code to maximize link extraction and minimize false matching on complex structures.
Incorporation of several other minor enhancements, bug fixes and performance improvements.
These developments underscore Elsop's ongoing commitment to meet the needs of organizations with very large intranet websites and public websites. The latest performance boost compliments the extraordinary and incomparable speed with which LinkScan validates external links. LinkScan uses multi-threaded simultaneous processing to check 20 or more links concurrently.
With the explosive growth of web based applications, managers must be concerned about the scalability of their applications and tools. Many link validating programs have severe scalability problems that cause them to run slowly or simply crash when attempting to negotiate large websites. Elsop has eliminated those limitations with a server-based architecture which minimizes the use of virtual memory and other system resources. Depending on the site size, the latest version of LinkScan will use from fifty to eighty percent less virtual memory than other products.
