Kenneth R. Churilla
As Chairman of Electronic Software Publishing Corporation, I am very sad to announce that co-founder and President, Kenneth R. Churilla, passed away on January 2, 2012.
Ken and I conceived LinkScan in 1996 and founded the company the following year. He will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and other friends around the world.
I shall be assuming Ken's responsibilities, at least for the time being.

CHURILLA, Kenneth R.
Kenneth R. Churilla, 70, of San Jose, CA, died on Monday, January 2, 2012, at his home. He was born on April 20, 1941 in Hartford, CT, son of the late Helen (Smetana) Churilla and Albert M. Churilla, Sr.. Ken grew up in Manchester, CT and was a graduate of Wilbraham & Monson Academy with the Class of 1961. He went on to graduate from the University of Connecticut with the Class of 1966 with a BA in English Literature. Ken worked as an English teacher for one year at the Laurelcrest Preparatory School. He started with IBM Corporation as an associate marketing representative on Jan 1968 and worked for them until September 1972. He moved to San Jose, CA in 1976 and worked for a number of technology companies. He completed his career as Co-Founder and President of Electronic Software Publishing Corporation. A man with a great sense of humor, many friends and love for technology. He will be missed by many. He leaves his three brothers, Albert M (Sherry) Churilla, of North Venice, FL, Michael P (Juanita) Churilla of Simsbury, CT, and David (Barbara) Churilla of Columbia, SC; and nieces and nephews, Tracy Bodvake and her husband Robert of Portsmouth, RI, Michael Churilla and his wife Leslie of California, MD, Amy McKay and her husband Sean of Charlotte, NC. Very close friend Stella Gold, husband Travis and son Phillip will miss their papa Ken. A name given him because he was the father Stella never had. "He was a funny and always cheerful person to be around. He taught me many things about life and cooking; I'll cherish forever. We love you!!!"
